LAMP WORK BEAD MAKING: NOV 15TH - Beginning class:   Bead shaping and surface decoration including stringer control, dots , twists, bubbles and more.  Safety and studio setup will be discussed.

FRAMED CHARMS/Beginning Metals: NOV 16TH- Using sheet metal you will learn how to make your own personalized charms, just in time for Christmas gifts!  Techniques learned in this class will be; cutting, stamping, and cold-connecting of sheet metal, sizing and framing of picture, and finishing techniques.

Level 1: $45+ Materials- 3 hours

Tools Required:Two hole punch for metal, 3 or 4" jewelers saw, with size 3/0 blades, bench pin, flush cutters, round-nose pliers, chain nose pliers, 0000 steel wool, sharpie marker, chasing hammer, bench block, polishing cloth, and work mat. (Optional)- cordless craftsman hand tool or dremel. 

Additional Items: Copper sheet, sterling sheet, wire, and photo or picture

SPOON BRACELET: NOV 19th- Bring in an old sterling silver spoon and you will learn how to transform it into a beautiful bracelet. Covered in this class will be; annealing, stamping, forming, and antiquing.

BEADED CLUSTER BANGLE: NOV 23rd  This is a unique bracelet made with sterling wire, gemstones, and pearls.

Tools Required: Chasing hammer, bench block, long round-nose pliers, flush cutters, chain-nose, and needle nose pliers.

Materials Needed: Sterling Wire, Five 6-8mm sterling rounds, clasp, charm, and headpin. You may bring your own materials or purchase them for the class with a 15% discount. A kit is included that consists of the pearls and tiny gemstones.

WIRE WRAPPED PENDANT: DEC 3RD  Come and see how you can create a beautiful wire wrapped pendant. The pendant you will be making features elegant sterling silver and a lovely natural stone.  This pendant will make a great jewelry item for you, or to give as an original holiday gift.  Once you learn the basic techniques you will be able to apply this method to many different shapes and sizes of stones and beads.

Tools Required: chain nose pliers, wire cutters, 12" ruler, felt tipped marker, painter's or masking tape, scissors.

BEGINNING BEADING: DEC 9TH - This class will teach you all the basics needed to start creating your own jewelry. You will be introduced to the different tools, beads, stringing materials, and much more. During this class you will be making a bracelet and set of earrings. Everything is included. You will be asked to bring any tools that you may have such as needle nose pliers, a cutting tool, and a pair of round nose pliers.

Level 1: $35 total. Materials are included. 1 1/2hrs.

MIRO'S CHARM BRACELET: DEC 12TH- This bracelet uses some beautiful new beads that have a very artsy style. Several different techniques are taught in this class, some of them include; how to make a caged bead, decorative wrapped beads, a clasp, and other decorative wire techniques. This is a great class for wire beginners!

Tools Required: Chasing hammer, bench block, long round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, and flush cutters.

Materials Needed: Sterling silver beads, sterling silver wire, gemstones, headpins, and gemstones.

LEVEL 2: $40 + materials

SOLDERED STERLING RING: DEC 10TH- Using a small torch, sterling silver, and some fun stamps, learn how to make your own rings. This is a great beginning soldering class for those of you ready to expand your jewelry techniques.

Tools Required: Blazer Butane torch, chasing hammer, regular household hammer, fire brick, old pair of pliers, copper tongs, ring mandrel, bench block, old wire cutters, steel wool, polishing cloth, files and or dremel.

Materials Needed: Extra easy solder, flux, and sterling sheet

Level 1: $45 + materials 2 hours

SOLDERED BEZEL SET RING: DEC 14TH- Take your ring making to the next level and learn how to set stones in a bezel onto your rings.

Tools Required:  Blazer Butane torch, chasing hammer, regular household hammer, fire brick, old pair of pliers, copper tongs, ring mandrel, 3 or 4" jewelers saw, with size 3/0 blades, bench pin, flush cutters, round-nose pliers, chain nose pliers, 0000 steel wool, sharpie marker, chasing hammer, bench block, polishing cloth, and work mat. (Optional)- cordless craftsman hand tool or dremel. 

Materials Needed: sterling silver sheet, extra easy solder, easy solder, flux, small brush, sterling silver bezel, and cabochon.

Level 2: $45 + materials 3 hours

KIM O'NEIL 2- DAY BRACELET WORKSHOP: JAN 10TH & 11TH learning free form resin, etching and cold connections. The focus of this workshop is on making cool stuff without allot of investment in expensive tools. 

Tools Required:  Chasing hammer, bench block, long round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, flush cutters, and any other wire working tools you have.

$260.00 + $25.00 supply fee. ( would supply everything needed to make the bracelet )

STAMPED & WRAPPED BRACELET: JAN 18TH- This is a class for those of you who have already had the beginning metals class.  In this class you will learn how to make a bracelet cuff and and add a decorative top.  The copper for the cuff is included with the class. The metals for the decorative top are not included.

Tools Required:Two hole punch for metal, 3 or 4" jewelers saw, with size 3/0 blades, bench pin, flush cutters, round-nose pliers, chain nose pliers, 0000 steel wool, sharpie marker, chasing hammer, bench block, polishing cloth, and work mat. (Optional)- cordless craftsman hand tool or dremel. 

Additional Items: Copper sheet, sterling sheet, beads, and wire.

 LEVEL 2: $55 + materials - 4hrs

Free- Form Bangle: JAN 28TH- This is a wire class for those that have worked with wire before. You will learn several techniques in order to create a one of a kind bangle using sterling silver and copper wire.

Tools Required: : Round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, needle-nose pliers, flush-cutters for heavier gauge wire, chasing hammer, bench block, bezel mandrel or ring mandrel, 0000 steel wool, polishing cloth, ruler, plastic mallet, and a sharpie marker.

 

Level 2:  $40.00 plus materials - 3 1/2 hrs

Materials Needed: Sterling Wire, copper wire, sterling, and copper beads. (These items can be purchased the day of the class with a 15% discount, or you may bring your own).

Skill Levels

Level 1- No experience necessary. Class will Introduce and cover the necessary basics of the craft being taught.
Level 2- Previous beginning skills needed. Should have appropriate tools and proper knowledge of their use.
Level 3- Students need to have basic techniques successfully acquired and applied. Classes are more challenging and require self-initiative.
Level 4- Must have accomplished all previous levels successfully. Projects at this level will teach you to think like an artist and look at things from a different vantage point.
